The Russian authorities are ready to expand the circle of people who are entitled to claim a payment dedicated to the anniversary of the Victory, Sputnik reports. This list will include Russians who live in Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia and do not receive Russian pensions. The draft resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation was prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection.

Earlier, the president ordered 75,000 rubles to be paid to each veteran on the anniversary of the victory. The money is intended for people with disabilities and veterans of the Great Patriotic War who are permanently living in Russia, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, as well as former underage prisoners of concentration camps and ghettos.

Payments also apply to widows and widowers of military personnel who died during the war with Finland, World War II, the war with Japan, widows and widowers of deceased invalids of the Great Patriotic War and participants in the Great Patriotic War.

Former adult prisoners of Nazi concentration camps, prisons and ghettos are entitled to 50,000 rubles. Financing of expenses, including delivery, is provided by the government.
