Moscow will send invitations to the Victory Parade for the second time, the Komsomolskaya Pravda newspaper reports. In particular, the authorities will invite French President Emanuel Macron, who was the first of the foreign leaders to respond to the invitation to fly to Russia on May 9. But because of the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the parade had to be postponed.

Participation in the Victory Parade has already been confirmed by several world leaders, including the heads of Moldova, Serbia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Palestine.

Earlier, the Russian president ordered a military parade to be held on Red Square and in Russian cities in honor of the anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War on June 24. It is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the legendary victory parade. On this day in 1945, Soviet soldiers and officers, who fought near Moscow, defended Leningrad, fought near Stalingrad, liberated Europe, and stormed Berlin, marched on the Red Square. It was they who threw the enemy flags at the foot of the mausoleum.

In addition, the march of the Immortal Regiment is scheduled for July 26, Navy Day.
