Geography of Great Victory concert held by compatriots in Spain

The online project called Geography of the Great Victory was prepared for the holiday by Russian compatriots in Spain. The initiative was launched by the Russian Alliance in the Canary Islands association, the website of the World Coordinating Council of Russian Compatriots Organizations reported.

According to the organizers, they wanted to demonstrate how wide the geography of those who remember and appreciate the domestic history. After the applications were received, it turned out that compatriots from Serbia, Turkey, Luxembourg, Mexico, Albania, Spain wanted to join the action.

More than two hundred immigrants from Russia aged 4 to 74 years became participants in the flash mob. They sang songs of the war years, read poetry. Entire families united into single creative teams. In many commercials participated compatriots living in different countries.

The organizers of the flash mob thanked all participants for their time, creative work and enthusiasm. They are sure that the celebration of Victory Day is not over. “Victory Day is our living memory, which we have no right to betray. Our holy duty is to preserve it and pass it on to our children and grandchildren, ”emphasize compatriots.
