Russia developed about 30 test systems for COVID-19 diagnosis

About thirty test systems for the detection of coronavirus infection have been developed in Russia within two months, TASS reports. As the head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko said, such tests have not been developed at such a speed before. He called it the undoubted success of Russian science and industry.

According to the minister, over the past two months, the country has moved from the development of test systems to their launch in industrial production and practical application.

Earlier Mikhail Murashko noted that work on creating a vaccine against coronavirus was proceeding rapidly, scientists intended to start clinical trials within two weeks. Experts hope that the vaccine will be ready for launch in mass production in late summer, the first stage of vaccination may unfold this autumn.
