The exhibition projects of Tula State Museum of Weapons are to become a part of Russian Seasons in Germany, announced Russian Deputy Culture Minister Alla Manilova during a meeting on the development of the museum. The collection of the museum, which was founded in the arms capital of Russia almost 150 years ago, is unique and has no parallels in the world, the website of Russia’s Culture Ministry states. The museum is going to create a travelling display on the evolution of various types of weapons to participate in Russian Seasons project.

Tula Museum collection includes samples of firearms and cold arms from the 14th century to the present day produced in Russia and other countries. More than 500 thousand people visited the museum this year. The number of guests increased five times over the year and the museum’s income increased by 20% in 2018. There is a large number of foreign tourists among visitors who intentionally come to Tula to see the museum’s collection of weapons. The Museum of Weapons created an up-to-date website and started the online ticket sail for the convenience of its visitors.

Russian Seasons is a variety of events aimed at demonstrating the diversity of Russian culture and art. The project starts in Germany on January 7 and is going to carry on with dozens of exhibitions, concerts, performances and creative meetings in different cities and regions throughout the year.
