Chinese schoolkids came to Volgograd, IA City News reports. During one week kids from Chengdu will visit local schools and look around the city's major attractions.  Chinese kids will stay at the families of their Russian peers to learn more about Russian traditions and culture.

Their visit to Volgograd is held in the frames of Russian and China: Far and Close project. Schoolkids from Volgograd, in their turn, will travel to Chengdu. The project is being realized during last seven years. During this time about 100 kids from both cities have participated in it.

Such exchanges act in many places around Russia, for example between Krasnoyarsk and Manzhouli. Chinese kids had Russian language lesson in Khabarovsk, and highschoolers from China are invited to study in Technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok.
