Russian and American parliamentarians will discuss issues of bilateral cooperation

Today Russian parliamentarians has an appointment with the transatlantic colleagues, as RIA Novosti reports. The senator from USA Rand Paul representing Republican Party has arrived to Moscow. With him the member of the Texas state Senate legislative assembly Peter Gettler and the president of the Cato Institute Don Haffayns were a part of delegation.

This meeting will be already the second in the recent past. As reported by Russkiy Mir, a month ago the group of the U.S. Congress representatives has already visited our country.

According to the member of the Russian parliament's upper house Konstantin Kosachev, these discussions will focus on some problems of the relationship between Moscow and Washington. The head of the Federation Council's International Affairs Committee has also explained that they will mention also the prospects of bilateral inter-parliamentary connections.

The delegation from the United States is also going to visit St. Petersburg.

There's another meeting with deputies of the State Duma in the schedule of Rand Paul. Members of the international affairs committee of the Russian parliament's lower house are looking forward to discuss all hot topics of the international agenda and the Russian-American interaction.

The head of committee Leonid Slutsky that expressed the hope that it would be a meaningful and constructive dialogue.
