FIFA President calls Kazan the unique city

FIFA President Gianni Infantino expressed his gratitude to the capital of Tatarstan for excellent organization of the FIFA World Cup matches in Kazan. He came to the meeting at the city administration in person, RT informs.

In his words, the city administration has done a great job. Infantino is sure that Kazan is entitled to be proud of the results of work conducted  during the tournament and at the years when the preparation was just going on. 

FIFA President called Kazan one of the most beautiful cities of the world. He added that he was delighted to open Kazan for himself, as he had never visited the city before.

Kazan is an excellent city with very rich history, huge historical and cultural heritage, the Head of FIFA is sure. In his opinion, the most surprising thing here is the unique culture of interaction of people of different religions. Kazan can become a perfect example for Russia and the whole world in this sense. Kazan is an example of how we should live together.

The match of the quarterfinals of the World Cup was hosted by Kazan yesterday. The team of Belgium played against Brazil. The match brought victory to Belgium who will continue playing in the semifinals.
