There are more than 100 cases of invasion of the Washington in the internal affairs of other countries, claimed the Federation Council Andrey Klimov. He heads the upper house of the Russian Parliament's Commission of state sovereignty protection, TASS reports.

The Russian senator mentioned that the U.S. intervened into affairs of almost 60 countries over several decades. All those actions have taken place after the adoption of the Charter of the United Nations which prohibits interference in affairs of other countries.

According to the politician, a handful of cases are real and accurately recorded. As an example he's cited the military coup in Chile when the U.S. helped a military dictator Pinochet to come to power in the beginning of 1970s. Chileans were subjected to brutal mass repressions for almost 20 years. «There were many episodes of the U.S. interference in each of these cases,» Andrey Klimov added.

He has promised that the Commission's report will be made public. Apart of that there's another report version, which is intended for the internal use.

At this, some American leaders didn't try to hide such actions. For example George Bush Jr. has publicly advised that Washington is going to change political system in 15 countries. The acting US President Donald Trump has claimed that Washington constantly interferes in other States affairs, and this practice has to be stopped.
