Unified State Exam postponed because of coronavirus

The unified state and basic state exams were postponed, according to RIA Novosti. According to Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov, due to restrictive measures in connection with the spread of coronavirus infection, the deadlines for the exams are postponed. The head of the department explained that the USE will start on June 8, and the BSE a day later, from June 9.

This year, the USE was to go through three stages: early - from March 20 to April 13, the main - from May 25 to June 29 and the additional - from September 4 to September 22.

Russian schoolchildren are currently on vacation. It is planned that they will last for three weeks and will end on April 12. Sergey Kravtsov promised that the schools will provide support for the learning process in an online format.

Key educational services working in an online format have opened free access for Russian schoolchildren and students during quarantine. Among them are GeekBrains, Uchi.ru, Foxford, Skyeng and Diary.ru.
