Divisions of Crimea’s Friends international association were established in several European countries, such as Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece, according to permanent representative of the Crimean Republic to the Russian president Georgy Muradov, TASS reports.
The association was established in the course of international forum Crimea in Contemporary International Context. More than three dozens of different countries took part in the forum. One of the organization’s tasks is acknowledgement of Crimea’s legitimate status on the West.
It is worth reminding that Crimea’s Friends forum has turned into an open platform for discussions and dialogue. Politicians, businessmen, social activists, journalists and figures of culture from different countries of the world took part in the event. Experts made a presentation about legitimacy of All-Crimea’s Referendum from the legal point of view. According to organizers, this would help popularizing true information about life on the Peninsula and free declaration of will of Crimean people which happened a year ago in March 2014.
As per Georgy Muradov, Crimea’s Friends club will be established by Ukrainian citizens too. The truth is, this would happen beyond Ukrainian borders, as the present Ukraine cannot establish anything useful for Crimea, he believes.
