Russian choir in Stockholm is looking for voices

pixabay.comRussian choir Vesna (The Spring) from Stockholm has advertised that it starts accepting applications to the amateur singers choir, the union of Russian community in Sweden reports. The choir was organized 2,5 years ago. It has already taken part in many events in Stockholm and beyond Sweden’s borders. Vesna is a permanent participant of the annual Slavic spring festival Maslenitsa (Traditional Pancake day celebrating winter’s end) held in the Sweeden capital. Aside of that amateur choir usually takes part in Chinese Cultural festival.

Folk, pop, military, chanson songs are included in the repertoire of the choir. During rehersals Russian language is used mostly; Swedish and English translation are used if needed.

The choir now is looking for men voices (bas and baritone). Some practical experience and at least music school education are required.
