The tournament with a logo Future Depends on You will take place in May 2018 right before 2018 FIFA World Cup. Twenty-four teams of young boys and girls aged from 14 to 17 will participate in it. Russia will welcome guests from countries with strong football teams as well as countries where leading positions are occupied by other types of sports.

Organizers of football competitions, which have been conducted since 2005, have remarked that the main purpose of the tournament is to provide a chance for parentless children to show their value at the international level and create their fates on their own.

Megafon Director General Sergey Soldatenkov thanked Street Child United Foundation for the readiness of cooperation and trust. He has expressed hope that competitions would attract attention of society to the problems of orphaned children. Socialization of teenagers through football might help them feel more confident in future.

Megafon will select four teams, whereas the right to choose 20 more is bestowed to the British Charity Fund.
