Russian Law course to be established in Tel Aviv University

RossotrudnichestvoStudents of Tel Aviv University Law School will be able to explore Russian Law. The corresponding 3-year agreement was signed between Lomonosov Moscow State University and Tel Aviv University. The best MSU professors will read lectures on Russian Federation law to Israel students.

Collaborative project has already submitted three grants for Russian-speaking students. It is also planned that every year one stipend will be given to the Russian scholar who would come to study in Tel Aviv University, and other two to Russian immigrants living in Israel.

The Dean of the Buchmann Faculty of Law Sharon Hannes has stated that this agreement can be called the historical one. He has also added that students in Israel study basics of USA and Great Britain law system. Harvard and Yale University graduates teach in Tel Aviv, along with the best law professors from other Western countries. There were no Russian specialists yet, however, the first one, Ekaterina Tyagai from Kutafin Moscow State Law University, is coming to Tel Aviv University very soon.
