55 bilingual children from various regions of Tanzania took part in an intensive course in the Russian language and patriotic education. The classes were held at the Russian House in Dar es Salaam for three weeks, the Rossotrudnichestvo website reports.

The course included classes in the Russian language and financial literacy, as well as lessons in kindness and tolerance. In addition, children attended drawing master classes and participated in educational and interesting experiments in physics and chemistry.

Every day, participants in the training program were shown classical Russian and Soviet films for children.

The head of the Gift of Speech school, Elena Simonova, noted that the course allowed young students to improve their knowledge of the Russian language. Similar intensive courses are held in Tanzania twice a year.
