Orthodox Spiritual and Cultural center will start working in Strasbourg in several days, IA Interfax informs. It will be opened at the territory of the Russian perish of All Saints Cathedral. An inaugural opening is appointed for Friday, May 19. Moscow Patriarchate representative to Council of Europe and the head of All Saints Cathedral Hegumen Philip and Strasbourg Mayor Roland Ries will take part in the inaugural ceremony.

A representative office of Russian Orthodox Church to Council of Europe will be located in the center; there also will be several halls for organizing different events, living blocks and warehouses.

It is worth reminding, that two months ago, All Saints Cathedral was decorated with golden domes. The domes were produced in Moscow and then delivered to France in parts. They were being assembled for several weeks near Strasbourg.

As per Russkiy Mir Foundation, the stepping stone at the cathedral foundation was placed in September 2014. The cathedral was constructed with consideration of all principles of Russian church building architecture.
