An Orthodox church will appear in the United Arab Emirates, TASS reports. The UAE authorities have allocated a land plot for construction. Vladimir Putin expressed gratitude for this step to his counterpart Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The heads of state spoke about this during the visit of the Russian leader to Abu Dhabi.

The Russian leader commended the flourishing tourist exchanges between the nations, highlighting that nearly a million Russian tourists visited the UAE in 2023. In addition, he noted, a Russian school started working in the Arab country.

According to Russkiy Mir a forthcoming cultural and educational center in Dubai set to open next year. It is being initiated by the Russian-Emirati Business Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The new center will host exhibitions, poetry evenings, and meetings with local cultural figures. Russian language courses will also be available there. In addition to Dubai, Abu Dhabi is also being considered for the location of the center.

One more Russian school will appear in Dubai. The head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov promised that the educational institution will open in the shortest possible time.
