Washington began preparing for a new pandemic by mutating viruses, the Russian Defense Ministry claims. This is being done by specialists from the US Office for Pandemic Preparedness and Response Policy, Lenta.ru reports.

According to Lieutenant General Igor Kirillov, who heads the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces, this department was created overseas less than a month ago. Its activities are aimed at implementing the strategic plans of the United States in the field of establishing global control over the biological situation.

The high-ranking Russian officer believes it is entirely possible for the United States to use so-called defensive technologies for offensive purposes, as well as for global control purposes through the creation of biological crises.

The United States can engage in a full cycle of work with pathogens that are components of biological weapons. Documents obtained during the special millitary operation indicate the collection of pathogens by the United States in various regions of the world, as well as the testing of unregistered drugs.

Igor Kirillov said that the Ministry of Defense had analyzed more than 2,000 documents during the special millitary operation. Not a single one of the facts cited by defense department experts has been refuted by the United States. No one had any doubts about the authenticity of documentary evidence, Igor Kirillov specified.
