Greece will transfer humanitarian aid to residents of new regions of Russia

Greece will send humanitarian cargo to the population of new regions of Russia. Greek public figures and deputies announced their desire to transfer to Crimea, RIA Novosti reports.

According to Ivan Shonus, deputy head of the Crimean parliamentary committee on public diplomacy and interethnic relations, head of the Taurida regional national-cultural autonomy of the Greeks, a delegation from Greece announced plans to deliver humanitarian aid to the peninsula for the population of new regions.

Ivan Shonus noted that preparations are underway for the visit of Greek representatives.

Earlier, German public figure Heinrich Gintz visitied the pennisula. He brought humanitarian aid collected by the inhabitants of Germany for the population of the Kherson region. It is noted that the guest will personally visit the region and will be able to see with his own eyes the life of the Kherson region, which differes greatly from the way it is pictured by Western propaganda.
