Denmark's politics in the international arena is openly anti-Russian, the Russian Foreign Ministry said. A month ago, the country's authorities declared 15 employees of the Russian embassy and the trade mission persona non grata. Moscow also warned that the provision of military assistance by the Danish authorities to the Kyiv regime leads to a deterioration in relations between Russia and Denmark.

As a response, Russia decided to expel seven Danish diplomats. They will have to leave the country in two weeks. In addition, another Danish diplomat will be denied a visa.

Russia reserves the right to take additional steps in response to the unfriendly actions of Copenhagen, summed up in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Earlier, the ministry noted that after the start of the military special operation in Ukraine, almost 30 countries expelled about 400 Russian diplomats.
