Participants of the motorcycle rally dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising and the memory of Soviet soldiers visited more than 30 settlements in Slovakia associated with the events of World War II. Participants of the action lay flowers and wreaths at the monuments to the Red Army soldiers who gave their lives for the freedom of the republic, TASS reports.

The Freedom Race, organized by the Slovak Motorcyclists Association, lasted for about a week and ended on August 29, the anniversary of the beginning of the uprising.

A particle of the Eternal Flame was taken in Moscow this spring during the motocross of activists across the regions of Russia, Belarus, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The action was timed to coincide with the next anniversary of the Great Victory. Candles were lit from the Eternal Flame in more than 600 Slovak towns and villages.
