Chinese viewers will see the Russian film T-34, RIA Novosti reports. The work of director Alexei Sidorov will be released on big screens on December 11.

In China, the war drama can be viewed not only in 2D and 3D, but in premium formats - China film giant screen (CGS) and Cinity.

At the end of next week, the film will be included in the program of the Hainan International Film Festival.

According to Central Partnership, three full-size T-34s were installed in Chengdu, Shanghai and Shenzhen as part of an advertising campaign.

The head of the company Vadim Vereshchagin called China one of the most interesting and promising film markets, but at the same time one of the most difficult.

The main character of the film, a young tankman Ivushkin, was captured. He decided to flee and, having gathered a crew,  challenged the fascist tank aces on the legendary T-34 tank. The film stars Alexander Petrov, Viktor Dobronravov, Irina Starshenbaum and other famous Russian actors.

The film was a great success with Japanese audiences. In the Japanese box office, it broke the record for other Russian films over the past 25 years. In the first month, the film grossed over half a million dollars.
