The anti-Russian actions took place online. The MFA took the participation of a number of official representatives of the Turkish authorities in those actions with surprise and concern.

The Foreign Ministry called on the Turkish society to regard the historical events of the last century with an unbiased eye and not to allow speculation on the tragic events for the sake of the political situation.

The diplomats recalled that anti-Russian statements and actions of this kind contradict the development of partnership relations between Moscow and Ankara.
