Participants of the Rovesnik youth dance ensemble of Kaluga College of Culture and Art perfromed in the United States. The trip was organized by the Rotary Childrens Fund. It became part of the Golden Gate youth exchange program, the Kaluga Provincial Gazette writes.

According to Oleg Latyshev, the head of the college, this was the first trip to the United States for the team.

The best young performers, together with their teacher and choreographer Arthur Mikoyan, spent a month and a half on tour. During this time, they gave several dozen concerts, performing on the Pacific and Atlantic coasts. They held meetings with locals and visited museums and excursions. They not only received many new impressions and huge creative experience, but also were able to introduce Russian culture to the American public.

After returning, the young artists said that they were very impressed with the meeting with Russian emigrants, who thanked the team with the performance.
