Russian acrobats win gold medals from circus art festival in China

Artists of the Russian circus have won gold medals at the fifth International Festival of Circus Art held in Zhuhai, China, TASS reports.

The Russians competed with the teams from the United States, Ethiopia, Argentina, Hungary, Canada, Cuba and from many other countries.

Professional grudges named athletes from Rosgosirk in Chinamthe best in swing acrobatics. Mikhail Filinov is the artistic director. Russian artists shared the victory with their colleagues from China who performed in the group equilibrium genre.

Anastasia Makeeva, an aerial gymnast on canvases, won a silver medal.

Another silver medal went to a group of Russian acrobats on teeter boards run by Vyacheslav Cherniyevsky.
