Festival dedicated to Russian poet Mayakovsky to be launched in Germany

Eco Art Festival dedicated to Russian poet Mayakovsky to take place in Berlin in May. Russian artists, writers, musicians and  Mayakovsky's fans will meet up. Other festival dedicated to Russian avant guard poet to take place in Kungur in the southeast of Perm Krai, Russia, Sputnik informs. 

Festival was launched in Georgia where the poet was born. Creative people from 7 countries came to his home town Baghdati, as we informed before.  The festival aims to attract attention to ecology and beauty of the Mayakovsky homeland, for which it was called Eco Art Festival.

According to the festival founder Sandra Vereli, the festival will proceede in cities connected with Mayakovsky's biography. The poet visited Germany nine times, he wrote about this country many times. There is a special tour in Berlin following places loved by the poet. 

Festival popularizes Mayakovsky's heritage in all forms of literature, art, crafts, fashion, theater performances, music aiming attention of youth and schoolkids from many countries.
