Moscow strongly protests against the fact that Ukraine's warships violated peaceful shipping in the Black Sea, says the Russian Foreign Ministry statement, RIA Novosti reports.

The Foreign Ministry warns Kiev that the policy of provoking a conflict, conducted by the Ukrainian authorities together with Washington and Brussels, may lead to very serious consequences. Russia will not tolerate trespassing on its sovereignty and security threat; all attempts will be firmly stopped, the Russian Foreign Ministry stresses.

There is no doubt that the actions in the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait are nothing more than a carefully elaborated and planned provocation. Its goal is to create another tense situation. In addition, it will serve as a pretext for the next round of the anti-Russian sanctions.

Earlier Russkiy Mir reported the three Ukrainian ships to enter illegally the Russian territorial waters on November 25. Berdyansk, Nikopol and Yany Kapu violated the established procedure, the FSB statement says. However, they ignored the demands to stop. Russia had to use weapons to stop them. The three vessels were detained; three Ukrainian soldiers were slightly injured. Russia initiated a criminal case on the state border violation.

Petro Poroshenko supported the proposal of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine to impose martial law in the country until January 25, 2019. Now deputies of the Verkhovna Rada will discuss it.

Russia also voiced outrage at the attack on Russian diplomatic missions. Moscow demanded to find and punish the perpetrators. In addition, the Ukrainian authorities should ensure the Russian diplomatic missions security.

On November 25, radical nationalists in Ukraine conducted a protest near the consulates general in Lviv and Kharkiv as well as near the Russian Embassy in Kiev.
