The Cossack icon of Tsar Nicolas II the martyr was brought to monasteries on Holy Mount of Athos, TASS reports. According to Sergey Krishtal, a Cossack colonel of the Association of Cossacks of Russia and the ataman of Nadymsk Cossack Community, the next planned destinations include European countries, such as Poland, Austria and Germany.

While on Athos, the Cossack icons were brought to Hilandar Monastery, which is spiritually supported by the Serbian Orthodox Church and is one of the greatest Serbian sacred places. Then the icons were carried into the Russian Monastery of St. Panteleimon.

The ataman shared that he escorted Nadym Royal Cossack icon during Cross Processions in different regions of our country, as well as in neighboring countries and beyond. Such events have been held during fifteen years.

The Cross Processions have been held in Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus, in the area of Georgian–Abkhazian conflict, in Donbass. In 2005 the icon was taken on the flight from the Moscow region to Far East. Ten years ago it was taken to round-the-world trip on the Pallada (tall ship).

The Cossack icon of Tsar Nicolas II the martyr and some other icons have covered almost half-million kilometers through Cross Processions calling for people to repent.
