Moscow and Apulia agreed on cultural cooperation

Moscow and Italian Southern region Apulia have  agreed on cooperation, IA Interfax reported. Head of Department for External Economic and International Relations Sergey Cheremin and Apulia mayor Michele Emiliano have signed the document. 

Celebration ceremony took place in Bari. It was held in the frames of Days of Moscow festival. It is planned that cooperation to be developed in several directions, such as transport, infrastructure, education, tourism, environment protection.

According to the Moscow representative Italia is one of the principal external economic partners. 

Sergey Cheremin has added that sides share with each other their achievements and experience. 

Cultural exchanges between Moscow and  Apulia to become constant from now on. 

As Russkiy Mir reported, the Moscow Festival is held in three cities - Merano, Florence and Bari. The Winter Rose ballet will be shown in Bari. A performance of the New Ballet Moscow theater is based on the tale by Oscar Wilde called The Nightingale and the Rose. The Choir of the Sretensky Monastery will perform in the legendary Basilica of St. Nicholas.
