South Korean Prime Minister confesses his love for Russian classics

The books by Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Alexander Pushkin were a favorite ones in the young years of the of the South Korean government leader Lee Nak-yeon. The official acknowledged this during his speech at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), RIA Novosti reports. It opened in Vladivostok on September 11. South Korea's Prime Minister heads the delegation of the country.

According to him, the works of Russian classics became a strong consolation for many people of the country and inspired them.

Lee Nak-yeon admitted that the song Million Roses sang by a Russian star Alla Pugachyova is one of his favorite.

The head of the South Korean government stressed that Seoul strongly intends to increase investment in Russia. He is convinced that the development of bilateral interaction will allow to achieve the great success. The Prime Minister recalled that cooperation in shipbuilding proofs this. One of the major South Korean companies is implementing joint projects with the St. Petersburg Zvezda shipyard and plans to develop investments in this area.
