Russian embassy in US expresses regret on "megaphone diplomacy" of Department of State

The Russian Embassy in the USA on Sunday has stated a regret because of "megaphone diplomacy" used by US Department of State. That was pronounced in the comment of diplomatic mission after messages of the spokesperson of the U.S. Department of State Heather Nauert about a call into Department of State of the Charge d'Affaires ad interim of Russia in the USA Dmitry Zhirnov.

"We can only state a regret because the Department of State once again comes down to "megaphone diplomacy, " is noted in the message.

The Russian diplomatic mission has emphasized that the American department actually helps those powers within establishment which use a subject of so-called Russian intervention in political processes in the USA in their own interests.

In such situation diplomats have pointed on "not absolutely ethic desire to make public the content of diplomatic contacts in tendentious light."
