The holy relics of the Russian Church’s hermit Seraphim of Sarov were brought to Oxford. They can be worshiped at St. Nicholas Cathedral. A particle of the sacred incorrupt relics was brought from the Holy Trinity St. Seraphim-Diveyevo Covent founded by the hermit, according to IA Interfax.

The arrival of the relics was accompanied by the solemn praying. After that, the priest of the Dormition Cathedral in London presented a book in English about the Covent in Diveyevo, which became home for the relics of St. Seraphim after their second acquisition at the beginning of the 90ies of the last century.

Russian guests accompanied the relics on the way to UK. Russian delegation visited the burial site of Archimandrite Nicholas Gibbs who was an English tutor to Tsarevich Alexei, the only son of Nicholas 2.
