Russia held briefing with participation of Douma chemical attack eyewitnesses in OPCW

27.04.2018

Russia’s representative office at the Organization for Prohibition of the Chemical Weapons held a briefing dedicated to the incident in Douma, Syria, at the headquarters in Hague, RIA Novosti informs.

Eyewitnesses of so-called chemical attack were present at the briefing. Among 17 people was a family of 3 people, including 11-year-old Hasan Diab who talked how they poured water on him after the alleged chemical attack.

All national delegations were invited for this unique meeting.

Note that, last week Russia 24 TV channel showed an interview with a child who told the truth about recording the video on the chemical assault. The boy honestly shared that he and his mother heard people shouting that they had to go to the hospital. They followed these cries and when they entered the hospital, the people there poured water on the boy and started saying something recording the video.

The father of 11-year-old Hasan Diab commented that after the recording was over, they were given dates, rice and cookies and let go home. The man emphasized that the child felt perfect before the hospital and there was not any chemical attack in the city.

Russia’s Foreign Ministry called this incident an informational assault about chemical attack in Douma, the Syrian city located near Damascus. The Western countries accused the government of the country in haste. Sergei Lavrov has claimed that Russia holds evidence of staging the chemical attack in Syria.
