The Russian State Archive of Social-Political History was replenished by historical documents concerning the Nuremberg trials, provided by the department of journalism of Lomonosov Moscow State University. Earlier, this unique collection was passed over to the university by assistant professor Ninel Vannikova and her husband who was professor of the philological department of the university.

Tsurinov being the university graduate himself, was a simultaneous interpreter at the trials for two years. Later he became a secretary of the Soviet part of Nuremberg International Tribunal. He was collecting newspapers, editions, magazines dedicated to these milestone events for all of his life.
The archive workers were extremely interested in handwritten documents – the folders contain drafts and translations with personal notes of Konstantin Tsurinov and his explanations.

Tradition of donation personal archives to libraries exists a long time dating back 18th century.

Lomonosov Moscow State University library stores many valuable books and documents received from the professors. A part of the family archives including books of 18th and 19th centuries will remain in media center of the department of journalism.
