Russian colleges made a breakthrough in the RAR rating

Presence of Social Science departments of Russian universities have increased almost in half according to the  Round University Ranking — from 23 to 45 participants. The number of Liberal Sciences departments has grown 60%, from 15 to 25. Lomonosov Moscow State University is the highest rated among other Russian institutions, RIA Novosti informs. 

The press service of the Social Navigator project informed that RUR data shows a great  breakthrough of Russian institutions. Lomonosov MSU has shown the best result as it moved from 184th to 51st position, to so-called Diamond League.  Tomsk University and St. Petersburg State University have significantly improved their rating taking 2nd and 3d positions after the MSU.

Universities from Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Belgorod and some other Russian cities have been included in the ratring as well.

RUR is a world university ranking, which measures performance of 930 leading world universities by 20 indicators across 4 key missions: teaching, research, international diversity and financial sustainability.
