Yulia Belorukova takes bronze in Olympic classic sprints

Russian athlete Yulia Belorukova has become a bronze medal winner at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, TASS informs. The cross-country skier has taken the third place in women’s sprint classics showing the result of 3 minutes 7,21 seconds at a distance of 1 km 250 meters. Another cross-country skier from Russia Natalia Nepryaeva stopped a step before the victory occupying the fourth place.

Stina Nilsson from Sweden has become the Olympic Champion. Maiken Falla from Norway has got a silver medal in woman’s cross-country sprint.

This is already the fourth medal taken by the Olympic athletes from Russia where they perform under a neutral flag. Earlier Anastasia Bryzgalova and Aleksander Krushelnitchkii won a bronze medal in mixed doubles’ curling. The bronze medal was won by Semen Elistratov for the short track speed skating. The team figure skating brought silver to the collection.
