First International Environmental Forum to be held in Crimea

lickr/Fr Maxim MassalitinSevastopol welcomes participants of the 1st International Environmental Forum Crimea - Ecological and Economic Region. Space Noosphere Development. The forum starts June 20th and will work at the premises of Lomonosov State University, TASS reports.

Ecologists, geographers, economists and other experts will discuss modern scientific practical ideas. Besides, one of the most important tasks of the conference is creation of young researchers’ community. Students, university graduates, postgraduates, college and secondary school teachers will be among guests and participants of the forum.

The Rector of the oldest Russian university Viktor Sadovnichiy will give a speech at the forum.

According to organizers, methods, tools and experience of tackling problems in Crimea and Sevastopol will be central topics of the forum discussions. This is especially important in the current situation of geopolitical unrest, international sanctions and financial and economic crisis. Conference aims at motivation of young people to be more active and to involve into current theoretical and practical scientific challenges.

The forum is to reinforce cooperation between social organizations, scientific institutes, educational institutions, businessmen and governmental authorities, which, in its turn, will improve stability and economical safety of Crimean and Sevastopol’s development.
