Russian artist to give lecture on contemporary art in London

The speech of the Russian artist Evgeny Granilshchikov, which will be held on May 29 in London Saatchi gallery, will continue the lectures of the Russia Contemporary series in the British capital. The cycle is organized by the London Saatchi Gallery and the British Hermitage Foundation, the project contributes to the promotion of Russian artists in the UK and other European countries, Afisha.London reports. 

Yevgeny Granilshchikov is the winner of prestigious Russian and international awards in Moscow, London, Wiesbaden and other cities. He graduated from the Institute of Journalism and Creative Writing and the Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia named after Rodchenko. The master works in such areas as video art, installation and others, he is also known as the director of experimental cinema. In his works, Granilshchikov talks about the views and peculiarities of his generation and about his inner world.

Note that the project was launched at the end of January. It was announced that six Russian artists, who had achieved fame in Russia and abroad, would perform within its framework. The last meeting within the project is scheduled for June.
