The Annual Russian Heritage Month to launch in New York in June

The Russian American Foundation launnches the festival dedicated to Russian culture, which celebrates the rich diversity of cultural traditions brought to the U.S. from the many countries of the former Soviet Union for a whole June , russianamericanfoundation.org reports. 

There's an array of events widely presenting Russian community. Art in Dialogue upholds a vital cultural U.S. – Russia dialogue by bringing together artists, thinkers and activists from both countries.  Russian-American Women Writers and the Immigrant Narratives roundtable will feature female voices of Russian-American fiction writers discussing their work. Annual Community Festival, Health & Sports Fair welcomes everyone to enjoy a full day of jazz music and dance performances by talented community youth groups. 

Special music event to take place in The St. Patrick’s Cathedral on June 25. Director of the Division of Organ and Church Music at University of Kansas Maestro James Higdon will perform organ masterpieces by Alain, Barber, Latry, Schnittke, Tariverdiev, Tournemire and Tschaikovsky.
