The Moscow Manege hosts Cultural Forum

wikimedia.org Moscow Cultural Forum opens today March 24 in the Russian capital and coincides with the Day of the Russian Cultural Worker, TASS reports. More than six hundred state cultural institutions will take part in the Forum within three days.

The Forum agenda is divided into two halves. The first half is devoted to business. It comprises lectures, round tables and other events where specialists with cultural expertise will exchange views on hot topics.

The entertainment half invites guests to attend theatre staging Marina Tsvetaeva. Poet and Time with Alisa Grebenshikova in the lead role, to visit presentations of video book Reading Onegin and to participate in meetings with the most distinguished stage directors of Moscow theatres. Performances by Zhvanetsky, Smekhov, Konchalovsky and famous actors are planned. These unique events will be hard to repeat. Among them is an exhibition Unknown Masterpieces containing the artworks by Russian painters from private collections. Moreover, the audience will be able to enjoy the variety of Moscow museums, theatres, libraries, parks and houses of culture.

The Theatre Day will be traditionally celebrated at the Forum platform by the Theatre Night action.
