Russian cultural centers to open in Angola

The Cabinet of Ministers of the Russian Federation supported the draft agreement with Angola on the establishment of information and cultural centers, TASS reports. The government decree was published the day before, on August, 17, on the official Internet portal of legal information.

As part of the agreement, the Russian Center for Science and Culture will appear in the capital of the African country. The cultural center of Angola will also operate in Moscow. Branches of these cultural centers may also appear in other Russian and Angolan cities.

The purpose of the work of cultural centers is to develop cooperation between the two countries in the fields of culture, science, in the areas of humanitarian and informational interaction. The centers will also promote the study of languages, organize educational activities.
