Russian President Vladimir Putin called the shelling of Belgorod by Ukrainian armed forces a terrorist attack, TASS reports. The attack took place on December, 30. The day before, January, 1, Putin visited the capital’s Vishnevsky hospital, where he met with participants in the special military operation.

The Kiev regime, under the cover of two missiles, used a multiple launch rocket system agaisnt a peaceful city, Vladimir Putin explained. This indiscriminate weapon covers large territories. The Ukrainian side targeted the city center, where families with children were walking along the streets and preparing for the holidays. ''This was a targeted attack on the civilian population,'' the Russian leader stressed.

25 people died as a result of the massive attack, five of them were children. More than 100 were injured.

Vladimir Putin promised that a response to this crime will definitely follow, but Russia is not going to hit the streets of Kyiv or shoot at other peaceful targets. Retaliatory measures are already being taken; they consist of strikes with precision weapons on decision-making centers, places where mercenaries and military equipment are located.
