Books in Russian can now be borrowed from the library of Chilliwack, Canada. Children's encyclopedias in Russian and Russian editions of works for children by Russian and foreign authors are placed on the main shelf at the entrance to the institution, the press service of organizations of Russian compatriots of Canada reports.

Previously, in order to read a book about the adventures of Uncle Fyodor or Mowgli in Russian, children of Russian compatriots and their parents had to order books from larger branches of the library network.

Russian-speaking residents of the town ask friends, acquaintances and neighbors to visit the library more often and borrow books so that the local collection of books in Russian increases and becomes more diverse.
