The Center for Open Education in Russian began working in Nigeria, the telegram channel of the Center for International Cooperation reports. It was opened by the State University of Education at the University of Lagos. Russian experts told the audience about Russia, the Russian language and culture. Students received study guides and small souvenirs.

The Russian university will also open an Open Education Center in Benin. The University of Education has no doubt that the centers will help young people from different countries of the continent receive Russian education. Russian diplomas are popular in Africa; they help land a decent job.

Cooperation is planned in organizing scientific, cultural and other events, as well as internships for students and teachers.

Centers for open education in Russian will be created in more than 50 countries around the world.
