The International Movement of Russophiles (MDR) was presented in the capital of Syria, as reported by the head of MDR, Nikolai Malinov on his Telegram channel.

The movement participants have explored Orthodox monasteries, including the Saint George Monastery and Our Lady of Saidnaya Patriarchal Monastery. Additionally, they climbed Syria's highest peak Cherubim, where a 30-meter statue of Jesus Christ is erected.

The Russophiles visit to Syria included the meaningful gesture of delivering humanitarian aid to children with disabilities. A prayer service in honour of the Russophile movement took place at the patriarchal palace of the Russian Orthodox Church in Damascus.
