The commander of the security forces of the Libyan National Army, Khalifa Haftar, and the Libyan Minister of Emergency Situations, Abdel Basit, thanked the Russian rescuers, TASS reports. They, together with Deputy Head of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, visited the camp of Russian rescuers.

Particular attention was paid to the airmobile hospital. Doctors see local residents and provide them with the necessary assistance.

During the day, rescuers surveyed more than three square kilometers, and also studied ten kilometers of the coastline. 75 objects were examined in search of living people under the rubble.

Russian specialists left for Libya on September, 15. The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations sent 50 rescuers and all the necessary equipment, including divers' equipment, to the flood-stricken country.
