Russia plans to launch missions to the Moon and Venus

Russia plans to launch missions to the Moon and Venus, TASS reports.The first mission to Venus in the Russian history is planned to be carried out after 2030.

The expedition is supposed to be carried out on the Venera-D space complex, its draft design is currently being developed. Venera-D consists of a Russian landing module and an orbiter.

The mission was supposed to be implemented jointly with the Americans, but a year ago, the ex-head of Roscosmos, Dmitry Rogozin, said that the development was carried out exclusively by Russian specialists.

The Luna-26 orbital mission and the Luna-27 landing mission are scheduled to start in 2027-2028. The development of projects involves the preparation of a scientific expedition to the moon.

On April 12, Deputy General Designer of the Rocket and Space Corporation Energia (part of Roscosmos) Vladimir Kozhevnikov spoke about plans to start work on the creation of the Russian Orbital Station next year.

Next summer, it is planned to submit a draft design of the station, in 2027 it is supposed to launch its first module, and five years later to complete the deployment.
