Russian drama theaters and studio theaters from Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Israel, and the CIS countries contested for the victory.

The shortlist includes the Italian Center for International Theatre, the Stanislavsky Yerevan Russian Drama Theater and the Lermontov Russian Drama Theater  from Kazakhstan.

The award ceremony in almost 20 categories will be held in December at the Vakhtangov Theater in Moscow. Spectators will choose the best Russian professional and amateur theaters, as well as directors, actors, and social projects in the theatre.
