"Heart-stopping beauty": Alec Baldwin praises Valieva's performance in Beijing

Famous Hollywood actor Alec Baldwin compared the performance of figure skater Kamila Valieva at the Beijing Olympics with a song, a poem and painting, TASS reports. In his opinion, her skating gives "heart-stopping beauty" to the whole world.
The young athlete competed in single skating as part of the team figure skating tournament. She became the best in the short and free programs.

"I love the Olympics because the world stands still, even in these crushingly disheartening times, to watch, in awe, as athletes (and artists) like Kamila Valieva, show us the beauty in this world that is made by one person. A song. A poem. A painting," Baldwin stated.
 
Kamila Valieva  is only 15 years old. She has world records in the short and free programs.
