Two Russian films, "No Looking Back" and "Nika'' will be screened at the South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival in Austin, Texas. The film about the prodigy poetess Nika Turbina will compete in the main competition, becoming the only film in a foreign language, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

SXSW will be held on March 11 - 20 . ''Nika'' by Vasilisa Kuzmina is going to have its world premiere. Nika Turbina's poems received nationwide fame when the girl was just 7. She was awarded the Golden Lion for her poems in 1985. Turbina tragically died at 27.

Kirill Sokolov's  "No Looking Back" is included in the Midnighters program. For the first time, a film about three women of different ages from the same family was shown last year at the Kinotavr Film Festival.

SXSW has been held since 1987, its distinctive feature is that it represents modern creative achievements not only in cinema, but also in music and other forms of art and technology.
